The Round Rock Campus Testing Center serves all students attending Texas State University or other learning facilities. The Round Campus Testing Center also provides proctoring for students who have accommodations through the Office of Disability Services. To register with the Office of Disability Services, please follow the link, ods.txstate.edu.
How to Make and Pay for a Testing Appointment
1. Student or instructors who need to set a testing appointment should call Carla Everett, Testing Center coordinator, at 512.716.4020, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include the appointment day and time preferred. Please provide an email address and phone number, so an appointment confirmation may be sent to you.
2. After receiving the appointment confirmation (which will include directions to Texas State University Round Rock Campus and parking information), students are to pay the appropriate testing fee online at the links provided below.
3. Please print and bring a copy of the payment receipt emailed to you. For ALL exams, a photo ID is required for checking in for testing appointments. This may include a driver’s license, student ID, passport or military ID. Texas Department of Public Safety-issued identification cards also are accepted. To apply for a state-issued ID card, please follow the link, dps.texas.gov/DriverLicense/applyforID.
(For CLEP tests, ONLY a government-issued ID is acceptable, which can include a driver’s license, state-issued ID card, a military ID or a passport.)
Parking: Every vehicle parked on the Round Rock Campus must display a valid Texas State University parking permit. Daily temporary permits can be purchased with a credit card at the pay and display stations located throughout the parking lots. The daily temporary parking permits are $5. ► Proctored Testing:
(Includes make-up or early exams, tests for students attending other learning institutions or earning business certifications) Texas State and Non-Texas State students pay the appropriate fee, based on the time limit of the exam. Students who have ODS accommodations at Texas State University are exempt from payment for each initial in-class exam appointment.
The administration fee is based on the time limit of the exam. If the time limit of the exam is:
2 hours or less..........................$40
between 2 and 3 hours...............$50
between 3 and 4 hours...............$60
more than 4 hours......................to be determined
Refunds for online payments are not available beyond one week from the date of payment.
► Correspondence Self-Paced Studies and Online Courses exams:
Texas State students (Texas State courses) no testing fee is required.

► Punctuation, Usage and Grammar (PUG) Test for Mass Communications or Healthcare Administration:
Texas State and Non-Texas State students pay $40 online for first, second and third attempts only. (The price drops to $20 on the fourth or more attempt.) Links to PUG study handouts and a sample test may be found at the bottom of the page at the following link txstate.edu/slac/stad-testprep/pug.
► The TEAS test for prospective nursing students:
Fee is $118, which includes a $60 proctoring fee to Texas State University and a $58 exam fee to ATI, which owns the exam.
► Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment for reading, math or writing:
(or Accuplacer for students attending a university or college outside Texas.) A link for payment will be sent with the appointment confirmation. All students $20 per section: math, reading or writing.
(If a university or college provides a student with a testing voucher, the fee is $15 per subject, and this fee may be paid prior to testing with a debit or credit card, or check.)
