Student Services

The Student Services team, located in Avery, Suite 201, is eager to provide information and assistance for a variety of services to make your educational experience successful and enjoyable! More details about specific services are provided below.

  • Our Admissions Team is available to provide information about any of our undergraduate, certificate or graduate programs. For further information, please call the Round Rock Admissions Team at 512.716.4030.

  • Academic advisors are here to help you get the most out of your college experience by providing thorough academic advising for programs at the Round Rock Campus.

    Academic advising for current Texas State students is provided by academic advisors and/or faculty. All students wishing to meet with a Texas State advisor are required to make an appointment.

    To make an advising appointment, please call RRC Student Services at 512.716.4001.

  • Texas State BobcatCards will be distributed through Student Services. A Student Services representative is available to take your photo. Upon 2-3 business days of making payment for your course(s), your card will be available at the Student Services front desk.

  • The Testing Center at Texas State University Round Rock Campus is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 7:00pm, and Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. They provide a wide variety of testing services for Texas State students and members of the broader community. For more information, please follow the link to the Testing Center.

  • Financial Aid and Scholarships advances access to higher education by providing timely financial assistance and information to students while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to all fiscal and regulatory requirements. The Financial Aid and Scholarships office is based in San Marcos but is happy to assist Texas State students in Round Rock via phone and email.   • The Office of Veterans Affairs at Texas State University assists veterans in pursuing their educational, professional, or vocational objectives. They are available to answer questions concerning veteran educational benefits, certify enrollments for the Department of Veterans Affairs and monitor student’s degree plans and academic progress. The Office of Veterans Affairs is based in San Marcos and is happy to assist Texas State students in Round Rock via phone and email.   • The mission of Student Business Services is to provide accurate assessment and billing of tuition and fees, to efficiently apply and disburse tuition adjustments and refunds, and to facilitate timely collection and reporting of student, department, and third-party sponsor income. Student Business Services is based in San Marcos but is happy to assist Texas State Students in Round Rock via phone and email.
