Academic Information Sessions are designed to inform prospective students about academic programs at Texas State University.
Applied Arts & Sciences (BAAS)
is designed to offer students the opportunity to earn college credit for prior learning assessment (PLA) such as work/life experience and non-collegiate instruction. This online session will overview the degree including transfer course requirements and admission in addition to degree opportunities, options and policies.
Interdisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education)
Be TXSTeacher Prepared! Texas State University continues to produce more public school teachers than any other university-based Educator Preparation Program in Texas. The bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education) will prepare you to teach students in Early Childhood - 6th Grade, along with English as a Second Language certification. This online Information session will provide you with information about the degree, the Round Rock campus experience, essential insights for transferring into this program, and contact information for those who can answer any questions you may have. This program educates students to work in varied clinical settings and prepare for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN)

The curriculum provides broad-based, generalized education with the flexibility to meet individual needs.
Online Masters's Programs
The Department of Occupational, Workforce and Leadership Studies offers diverse graduate opportunities at the RRC including the Interdisciplinary Studies (MSIS) and the Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary studies as well as the Management of Technical Education (MEd). This interactive, discussion-based session will assist you with identifying your career aspirations and provide guidance for your next steps.
