The Challenges of Acculturation
April 13, 3 - 4 p.m.
This webinar will define acculturation, the challenges that many international students face with acculturation, and tips on how to navigate the acculturation process. Adjusting to your new environment during the COVID-19 pandemic will also be covered.
The Bobcat Pause Memorial Service
April 13, 6 - 7 p.m.
The Bobcat Pause Memorial Service is a time honored Texas State tradition where the university community gathers to remember and honor our students, faculty, staff and retirees who have passed away during the preceding year. The service will include remarks by President Denise M. Trauth, a roll call of the names of those being remembered, a musical performance and a memorial tribute to our honorees.

Women's Leadership Symposium: Dynamic Women, Diverse Paths
April 15, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Dynamic Women, Diverse Paths is a half-day virtual symposium on women's leadership open to all students, faculty, and staff. The symposium offers participants insight into women's diverse paths to leadership positions in government, non-profit, and higher education. Topics include mentorship, professional growth, and personal transformation.
