RRC Students at the RRC Student Services Front Desk

Student Services is conveniently located in the Avery, Suite 201.  It is designed to provide quality and convenient services that support and enhance students’ educational experiences. As liaisons to the San Marcos Campus in San Marcos, the Student Services Staff can provide you with a variety of services or guidance.

Students may also bring updated official transcripts to Avery, Suite 201 to be couriered The Graduate College in San Marcos and processed.

Graduate advisors have a significant role in the academic life of graduate students. They advise on required coursework as they work toward the completion of degree requirements as well as mentor students on research initiatives and career goals. Other duties include initiating degree audit changes, curriculum review and coordination of comprehensive examinations in addition to coordination of graduate assistantships and scholarships.

Graduate academic advising is available and provided by a faculty member based out of the San Marcos departmental offices. Contact the department directly or click on the “Advising” link above for a listing of academic advisors for each program.

ID Cards
Texas State BobcatCards will be distributed through the Student Services office. A Student Services representative is available to take your photo. Upon 2-3 business days of making payment for your course(s), your card will be available at the Student Services front desk, Avery, Suite 201.

Career Services
A Career Services Specialist from San Marcos is also available at the RRC on a monthly basis for in-depth career advising, resume review, interview prep, job-search strategies, etc. Career Services workshops are also provided each semester at the RRC, such as Link Up with LinkedIn and Networking Workshops.

Student Activities and Organizations
RRC Student Affairs can provide information regarding the variety of student organizations, volunteer opportunities, professional development workshops, and activities around the Round Rock Campus.
