To find out how your courses may transfer and apply to your Round Rock Campus degree program(s) of interest, you may pursue a transcript evaluation after you have earned a minimum of 45 credit hours or after completing the majority of your freshman/sophomore level courses. Please follow the steps included below to pursue a transcript evaluation.
- Complete the brief form below to indicate your interest in a transcript evaluation for your degree program(s) of interest.
- Submit your ApplyTexas application (at this time, you will not need to submit payment with your application; select Check or Money order under the payment section to submit your application without paying) to officially keep your information on file with the university. You may receive emails from Undergraduate Admissions encouraging you to complete the payment for your application; please ignore these emails until you are ready to officially apply for admittance to Texas State to attend the Round Rock Campus.
- Submit ALL official transcripts from the colleges or universities you have attended, along with your High School transcript. Mail your transcripts to Undergraduate Admissions in San Marcos or hand deliver to Round Rock Campus Student Services, Avery Building, Room 201.
- Upon completion of your evaluation, the results will be e-mailed to you along with recommendations for moving forward. Upon receipt of all required documents, this process will take 2-3 weeks. You will then have the option to schedule an appointment to review your transcripts with the Transfer and Graduate Coordinator at the Round Rock Campus.
If you have been following a Round Rock Campus Transfer Planning Guide or Round Rock Campus Degree Plan Check Sheet and will be 90% complete with the required lower-level courses for your program of interest, you should pay the application fee to conclude your application process. Please be aware of future application deadlines.
***Private and out-of-state coursework is initially evaluated by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and is sometimes transcribed as elective credit. Once students are admitted, they work with their Academic Advisor to further evaluate that coursework including sending course descriptions back to the main campus to see if they will fulfill Texas State requirements.
***International transcripts are evaluated via the San Marcos Campus only after submission of the ApplyTexas application and application fee. If you have questions regarding International admission, please call the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 512.245.2364.
***Transcripts including coursework concluding in a Bachelor’s degree are evaluated only after admission to the university and upon the first academic advising appointment. If you have questions regarding admission for a Second Bachelor’s degree, please call the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 512.245.2364.
Mail transcript(s) to the following address or bring them in to the Round Rock Campus, Avery 201.
