Bobcat Day - Round Rock Campus is a great opportunity for prospective undergraduate students to get familiar with the RRC, meet expert program representatives and gain valuable steps to get started! This session will provide an opportunity to learn about admission, individual degree requirements, financial aid, student services, and professional development opportunities. In addition, the Master’s Program, Business Administration (MBA), information session will be held concurrently with Bobcat Day - Round Rock Campus.
Applied Arts & Sciences (BAAS) is designed to offer students the opportunity to earn college credit for prior learning assessment (PLA) such as work/life experience and non-collegiate instruction. This session will overview the degree including transfer course requirements and admission in addition to degree opportunities, options and policies.
Interdisciplinary Studies (BS) is designed to prepare students for Early Childhood through Grade 6, ESL teacher certification. This session will provide an opportunity for students to meet the RRC Education Advisor and learn about admission, program requirements and course sequencing.
Nursing (BSN) is offered by the St. David’s School of Nursing at the RRC. The application process is competitive and admits 100 highly-qualified students each fall semester. This program educates students to work in varied clinical settings and prepare for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN)
Business Administration (MBA) emphasizes the knowledge and tools needed for professional success and is designed for those individuals who expect to pursue careers in the management of organizations in either the public or private sector. The curriculum provides broad-based, generalized education with the flexibility to meet individual needs.
The Department of Occupational, Workforce and Leadership Studies offers diverse graduate opportunities at the RRC including the Interdisciplinary Studies (MSIS) and the Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary studies as well as the Management of Technical Education (MEd). This interactive, discussion-based session will assist you with identifying your career aspirations and provide guidance for your next steps.
The Elementary Education Teacher Recruitment Program provides an accelerated pathway for individuals, who hold a baccalaureate, seeking initial teacher certification. TRP is a full-certification program including 18 hours of graduate initial teacher certification coursework and 14 weeks of student teaching, typically completed in two semesters of full-time attendance.
