Transfer and Graduate Coordinator

Congratulations to Karen Ripley for her promotion to Transfer and Graduate Coordinator effective August 31, 2011. In her new role, Karen will be instrumental in assisting prospective students, coordinating Bobcat Days- Round Rock and New Student Orientation among many other responsibilities.

Karen originally started her work with Texas State in Round Rock working with the Admissions and Retention Coordinator through the School of Nursing. She created and implemented helpful tools which streamlined the application process. Karen then accepted the advisor I position in Round Rock through the McCoy School of Business. She helped create the McCoy website for Round Rock, kept it up to date, and served as one of the staff leads in the McCoy Ambassador program. Karen most recently served as the Advisor I for three programs in Round Rock. She has participated in several Round Rock sponsored events and is active in the Student Leadership and Activities Organization (SLAO). Student Services is thrilled to have Karen on board in her new position.

Karen will continue advising students in the Criminal Justice and Pre-Management majors along with her new tasks.
