During the month of February 2012, Texas State University Round Rock Campus and Round Rock ISD in our Socks & Boxers Drive collected new socks and underwear for children across the district who do not have the basic clothes they need to attend school.

For over 33 years, the RRISD Clothes Closet has helped families in need across RRISD by providing children with 5 complete outfits of gently worn and generously donated articles of clothing as well as new underwear and socks two times each school year. Students and families can access the Clothes Closet through their campus nurse or the Families in Transition program for homeless families. The Clothes Closet is purely a volunteer effort and runs on a tiny budget. They have already served over 1,000 children this fall. Your donations will make a huge difference!
